Dr. Chris Ojeih is the Chief Medical Officer and Medical Director at Alief Geriatrics Associates. He is board certified in Family Medicine with Geriatrics Fellowship Training. He obtained his Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery degree from the University of IbadanUniversity College Hospital Ibadan in Nigeria. He practiced as a general practitioner and surgeon in Nigeria before immigrating to the United States where he completed the Family Practice residency training at the University of Texas-Houston Health Science Center Lyndon B. Johnson General Hospital. Following that, he completed his Geriatrics Fellowship and Primary Care Fellowship at the University of Texas-Houston Health Science Center, Masters in Public Health with concentration in Health Services Organization as well as a Health Care Certificate in Business Administration from the University of Houston. Dr. Ojeih was recruited as the Chief of Family Medicine for LBJ General Hospital from 1999-2011 and Assistant Professor of Family Medicine, Department of Family and Community Medicine and Assistant Professor of Geriatrics, Department of Internal Medicine. He also served as the Associate Chief of Staff and Medical Director of the Harris County Hospital District UT-Houston Community Health Program.
Dr. Ojeih is now in active private practice with concentration in geriatric patients with outpatient office in the Heights area of Houston, House call areas that span the Metro areas of Houston, some affiliated rehabilitation skilled nursing home facilities located within the loop.
